ABOUT THE LOGANS
Honor, Tayler and Leona-Blue are singer songwriters from Glasgow who make up the country-pop band The Logans.
Their music, sisterly sense of humour and stage presence has built a strong fan base. The band's momentum and online personality was documented by BBC Scotland as part of a groundbreaking IGTV series: The Logans: Band of Sisters.
Following the success of this, BBC Scotland went to commission MLC Media to create a documentary special for television: Meet the Logans. The show proved so popular for the channel it was repeated five times. The documentary even received the New York Oniros Producer's Award for Best Short Documentary and the award for Best Original Song for the band's single Caledonia.
The Logans currently have a major 10-episode factual entertainment series in development, co-produced by MLC Media (UK) and Shadow Pine Studios (Ontario, CA).
The Logans launched their debut EP Burn, at Glasgow’s HMV as the first unsigned band given permission to do so. The singles: Caledonia, Castle Crathes, Burn and Meet Me In Mexico were featured in the BBC documentary Meet The Logans.
The Logans are as yet unsigned but are attracting a lot of attention from labels both sides of the Atlantic. For the moment, they wish to remain independent artists as they enjoy the freedom to explore a “new Scottish country sound” and to develop into the exceptional performers they have the potential to become.
